What Sijilat provides
Sijilat is the official online commercial registration and licensing system. Public registration information and authenticated business transactions serve different purposes. Looking up a business does not authorise someone to transact for it.

Use the official access route
Open the official service that matches the task and follow its authentication requirements. Sijilat’s electronic-services information refers to advanced eKey access. Do not rely on a CR number alone as a login credential.
Access and representation should be arranged for the actual applicant. An administrative representative and an equity shareholder are different roles; a portal-access issue should not be treated as a requirement to give someone ownership.

Distinguish registration from licensing
Check both the commercial registration and the licence requirements for the intended activity. Do not treat a registration record as proof that every proposed activity has received the necessary approvals.
- Identify the precise activity and legal structure before preparing the application.
- Check the official requirements for premises, documents and any other approving authority.
- Follow the requirements shown for the selected service rather than a universal document checklist.

Check fees and follow the application
Use the official activity-fee lookup and the selected transaction to establish the applicable charges. No single formation price or completion time is promised here.
Keep your application reference, review requests for further information and retain the official result. For an existing business, use the renewal guide below to understand the published renewal service.
